Près de 63 millions d’animaux domestiques vivent en France. De races, ou non, les chiens et les chats trouvent, pour la plupart, des foyers.Mais avant l’adoption, d’où proviennent les animaux que nous nous apprêtons à adopter ? Comment, et dans quelles conditions sont élevés ces animaux. A l’heure où la SPA, bondée, ne cesse de lancer des appels à l’adoption, que pense-t-elle de ces élevages qui lui font peut-être défaut ? Et de leur point de vue, que pensent ces éleveurs de la situation ?Egalement soucieux de prolonger la lignée, les éleveurs que nous avons rencontrés nous ont expliqué leur travail. Allant du simple élevage familial, à ceux qui font les concours, nous avons voulu savoir s’il était facile de vivre de l’élevage.
